You browse the gallery page to see if anything is of interest to you. If you like a product, you can contact the person giving it away directly from its “vendor” (~ giver) page. After contacting the giver, you may organize a meeting or drop-off location at which you will receive the stuff you are interested in for free.
After clicking on a product, you can scroll down to the vendor information tab from which you can access the vendor’s page to directly contact the person giving the product away. The contact form will automatically use the email you used to log in, if you have not logged in, you may input your email.
After contacting the giver, you will organize a meeting or drop-off location at which you will receive the stuff for free. If either person in the transaction is uncomfortable at the idea of meeting, we encourage a drop-off location to avoid any interaction. Safety first.
If you have stuff you want to give away, start by creating an account. When you have done so, you can access your “vendor” (~giver) dashboard. From this page, you can add a new product. Make sure to upload a picture, select a category to place it in (i.e., clothing…) and select a tab (~location).
After your free products are uploaded, there will be directly placed in the gallery. When someone is interested in receiving a specific free product, they will contact you directly to the email you have attached to your account. You may then discuss a potential meeting or drop-off spot. If either person in the transaction is uncomfortable at the idea of meeting, we encourage a drop-off location to avoid any interaction. Congrats! You have given stuff away for free and helped both the community and the planet. You may now access your vendor dashboard and edit the product that was given away to select “hidden” instead of “visible” in other options. You may also simply simply delete permanently the product if you do not want to keep a record of what you have given away.
